Poll Herefords

Allan and Heather Morgan operate Morganvale Beef providing seed stock to both Poll Hereford  to stud and commercial beef operators.
It is operated on 1340 ha in the renowned Willalooka area of the south east of South Australia in a 500 mm annual rainfall area, as their sole income source and passion. After breeding registered Poll Hereford cattle from 1978 in the Upper North of South Australia in a mixed cropping and livestock operation the herd was relocated in 2001 to its current location.
With the purchase of all breeding females from the now dispersed Heatherdale Poll Herefords in 2006 a single focus in providing superior genetics to both stud and commercial producers has been our goal.
All cattle are run under commercial conditions in large contempary groups, which give very accurate data about all animals. A great deal of importance is placed is placed on breed plan data for genetic gain in the hard to measure traits. This along with strict visual appraisal leads to an animal which is a softer mid maturity, easy fleshing type.
All cattle are EU accredited and BJD MN2 accredited
